While studying Computer Science, I discovered Android Development during a minor. I was immediately intrigued by the versatility of working on an app. Therefore, app development has been my main focus during my career and I can now proudly call myself a Senior Android Developer. As a senior developer I have extensive experience on how to set up a structured codebase with separation of concerns, so it can be properly maintained. Architecture has become an increasingly important part of my work. I like to work in a team and I distinguish myself as a developer because I work together with designers very well. I like to think along about how an app can become even better, and I can make a good contribution to the design process by asking critical questions and coming up with new ideas. I also like to work on animations. Working on animations is challenging, requires creativity and you achieve a visible result. It really excites me once an animation is successfully implemented. I like to pick up the most challenging tickets. If you have to puzzle to get something done, then I’m at my best.
